Webinar: Drive better health outcomes through increased Medicare member participation in Annual Wellness Visits

On Thursday, May 25, 2023, SameSky Health hosted a webinar to discuss our unique, culturally tailored approach to engage Medicare Advantage members in completing Annual Wellness Visits (AWVs). View the event summary or watch the full recording.

Studies show that Medicare beneficiaries who participate in their Annual Wellness Visits (AWVs) also complete preventive cancer screenings and vaccinations compared to those who do not.* Preventative services also play an important role in reducing health disparities for Medicare beneficiaries in underserved populations.

SameSky Health partnered with a Medicare Advantage plan to engage their members in completing their AWVs. The results are compelling and demonstrate the importance of engaging members in their AWVs to close gaps in care, reduce health disparities and enhance the overall member experience. Over the course of 12 months, nearly 50% of members completed their visits. We discussed our unique, culturally tailored approach, results, and lessons learned during this 30-minute discussion.
