Under the Same Sky with Katie Heidorn of Insure the Uninsured Project
When it comes to unwinding the public health emergency (PHE), the state of California is leading the way. Not only do they have a plan in place for the end of the PHE, but the State’s Medi-Cal program also recently expanded to cover undocumented adults aged 50 and older. Throughout these changes, Insure the Uninsured Project (ITUP) has been there, bringing policy leaders together to help shape the future of Medi-Cal while taking different perspectives into account. Executive Director of ITUP, Katie Heidorn, recently joined our Founder and CEO Abner Mason to discuss the work ITUP is doing to help shape policy in California.
